You get a better ride with the studless tires then the studded tires. Less noise going place to place and you don’t damage the roads we all pay for. Studded tire are good tires for ice but not all the times good for slush and dry road ways. The metal studs will cause you to slide on dry roads due to the hard surface contact. Before you get a new set of snow tires, do some on line shopping to compare the different types that are out there. Snow tires help to move around in the snow and ice but you are the driving the car.
