When going up to the pass or a long trip across the states and you know you’re going to be in some of the mountain ranges you should look into snow tires. There are many kinds of snow tires for each car or truck. You need to find the tire that suits your needs of the road your on. Studded snow tires are great for low noise and good grip of the road when its compacted snow and ice. Studded tires are great on ice but slide when you’re on just normal road due to the metal in the tires that grab the ice. The best thing to do is drive safe, slow down and see all around you.
